So much to catch up on. In January, Rich and I were finally able to take the hot air balloon ride I got us for our anniversary last year. We attempted to do it once before and we were cancelled for snow. Then we tried for a sunset ride and were cancelled for wind. On the third attempt we were finally able to set flight. It was a BITTERLY cold morning. I found myself doing jumping jacks and running around just to keep warm while the balloon was being blown up.
Not only were we taking flight, so were a couple of other balloons. You can see the flag balloon behind ours.

It was a great morning. We got to do our first ever "splash and dash" in the Rio Grande river. It was a lovely morning, despite the cold, and one that I will remember for a long time to come.
