4th of July surprise

Rich and I went to Cleveland for the 4th of July. After being in DC and hosting people for the 4th for 4 years in a row we were ready to head out of town and let someone host us. Since we will be moving soon we decided to take our last trip (within driving distance) to Cleveland and spend time with his friends and family.

It was a great week full of fun, friends and family time! One of the highlights was going to the Cleveland Indians game on July 3rd. Rich's friend Beth got us tickets for our wedding gift. We had awesome seats, just to the left of home plate, about half way up the bottom section.

During the 4th inning a man approached Rich and said "We want to give you some prizes if you let us put you on film"...SURE, Why not!?

Rich turned 10 shades of red as the crowd gave him a 2 minute long standing ovation for being that games Soldier Salute. The entire rest of the evening people came up to him to thank him for his service to our country...It was very cool!

Luckily the Indians won, in the bottom of the 10th. It was followed up by probably the best fireworks show and tribute to our country I have ever seen. I recorded about 2.5 minutes of it on my crackberry but for some reason it wont let me download it :(
