Cherry Blossoms are a bloomin'

Rich and I got up bright and early this morning in hopes of catching the cherry blossoms at sunrise. Apparently we are not the only ones that had this idea, the place was packed! Luck was on our side, we didn't have to search for parking for too long and were able to get some good pictures.

This is only the second time since moving here that I was able to make it down town while the trees were in bloom. The first time Rich and I went was in 2008 and it was cold and gray. Today was the perfect day to go and enjoy the cherry blossoms, an absolutely beautiful morning!

15 Days and counting

WOW. I can not believe that I have 2 weeks to go until the wedding. I am very much looking forward to it and the time we will have with friends and family. Believe it or not, this is the lesser of out stresses and more than anything I am excited and ready for the festivities to begin.

There are a lot of little things to do once I get to Texas next week but all of them fun. I am looking forward to the time I will have with Mom, Natalie and the kids making the final preparations for the wedding.
