It still feels like it all hap...Lia, it is amazing. It still feels like it all happened just yesterday. And here we are about to start it all again. So exciting, but just as scary all at the same time.<br />These birth families are amazing people. I don't think they get enough recognition or consideration for their ultimate act of love. Too many times I have had to correct people who assume birth moms are young and/or on drugs. no matter what their situation is or why they decided to make an adoption plan, it is without a doubt a decision that requires love and thought. I look back on our first meeting and wonder how we survived. Yet, it was so amazing. Our birthmother was great (and she still is). I love that you knew you needed to be there for her, too.
